No! Don't do it!! Noooo!!!

Sure, the title kind of sounds silly, but this is actually something serious.... Also kind of weird to talk about, but people need to realize these things before it's too late. Say you've got a boyfriend or girlfriend (if you don't just pretend with me here)... Especially if you're around my age the hormones are all out of whack and yeah, you've probably thought about sex. I can sum it up in six words -- "For the love of God, DON'T!!" Sure the media makes it look glamorous and all and something you can do for fun and money, but they don't tell you about the real side of it. Abstinence is the only way to avoid STDs and unwanted pregnancies, neither of which can be at all fun. If you are foolish enough to go through with it, there better be condoms and birth control pills involved. Notice how I didn't say "or," because I MEANT "and." Your parents should know, too, and I know how crazy that must sound to a lot of people. This is all coming up because of this guy I know who got his girlfriend pregnant about a month ago, and he's still 14 and she might be 15. They didn't use a condom because he said it felt unnatural. For this, I say screw nature!!... Ok, bad example. But, who knows, he might be reading this right now. All I can say, and really all I have the RIGHT to say, is that I thought he would've had better sense than to go and do that. Especially since he knows his parents have had it hard lately... I feel most sorry for his mom. If you're already pregnant, you'll just have to deal with the consequences. As my English teacher would say, "You reap what you sow." Abortion should not be an option, no matter what Obama says. (I've never thought he had the right idea anyway, but who am I to judge? I can't vote.) It's kind of like The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Honestly I never watched it since I found it insulting, like it was saying every teenager in America was going to get pregnant. You just never realize it happens until it happens so close to you.
