This is basically just a filler on what I did this week. Hey, I thought I had a pretty interesting week. K, so it was Homecoming and we do different things every day for the week... Wednesday was Prep/Punk Day so two of my friends went punk... Then they wanted us to put eyeliner on them. So if you try to put make up on a guy, he'll complain and freak about having a pencil that close to his eye. Pretty funny actually.
Another thing I just remembered... Our English teacher asked us if we really knew what "OK" meant... One guy said "zero kills"... Very funny.
Then Saturday our band (which I am in!!) became the best 1A band in the state, we placed 1st in everything and had the highest 1A overall score ever... At least in our state. Congrats to my fav people and Mr. C!!

Friday Night Lights >>The High School Band Edition<<
Yeah, I know I ripped off the title.... And probably some copyrights, but hey, it's not like I actually have people reading this. Anyway, I now have a theory that you have not played at a high school football game unless you've played with a trumpet in your ear.
Yes, I am in the band, a flute. And last night was the first night we got to wear our uniforms!!! Oh, I love those.... I am such a band nerd... And I'm OK with that. But honestly, my worst fear (as far as band goes) is that I'm going to get knocked out by a trombone. A lot of times when we're practicing, we'll go down a note and out of the corner of my eye I see slides pop right next to my head. Then last night when we were practicing our show music, they started hitting me in the back. It's funny looking back on it, but right there I was scared to death!!
Another thing I never noticed was that trumpets get really loud. Don't get me wrong, our trumpets sound AWESOME.... It's just a louder kind of awesome standing right in front of one. And he played to the right a bit, so that it aimed right in my ear. I don't believe it was on purpose, though... If it were two other people I would, but I would suspect them since they were talking about playing in our ears. It's all fun, though, you just have to know us. :)
